Origins Played in my backyard as a kid with 20 or so on a side. (Typical jungle ball but strong desire to learn, improve and win.) When away at college, was approached by a group that wanted to form a men's volleyball club team but was short participants- (before Karch brought home first 'Gold' medal in 1984)- I could always jump so I played a lot of front row.
